Christopher has been dreading this inevitable day his entire life; today he accompanies his father to work in order to learn the macabre family business of undertaking. Although he thinks he knows what to expect, both his nerves and his relationship with his father are put to the test when the first corpse through the door is someone that Christopher knows and cares for.

Set in a small frontier town circa 1867, this short Western examines the lives that are affected after the infamous gunfights, shootouts, and robberies so often depicted within the beloved genre. This film explores the idea that in destruction there can be creation, and in death, there can be beauty.
